Ohhhhh Nooooo! It's Time Again for the Father (or any other big guy)-Son Cake Bake!
What do you get when a big guy and a Cub get the run of the kitchen, unsupervised? Sure, possibly a big mess. But if you can also bake a cake, you could win a prize!
For our pack meeting on Monday, March 25 (6:30 p.m. in the elementary school cafeteria), we're having a cake baking contest! But it's no ordinary baking contest: It's for the menfolk only! Grab your dad, grandfather, uncle, older brother, male guardian, older male mentor, or any other guy grownup, and...bake a cake! No moms or grandmas allowed--they're going to have to trust you guys alone in the kitchen with baking supplies and an oven. (But you should keep them happy and clean up afterward!)
Bake your favorite type of cake and decorate it any way you want. Then bring it to the pack meeting, and you could win a prize! Our judges will award lots of prizes for things like "Best Use of Sprinkles," "Most Colorful," Thinnest," "Tallest," "Most M&Ms," and any other category we can think of.
After prizes are awarded, we'll do what we do best: eat those cakes (with milk, of course)!
So get baking, Cubs! Who knows? This could start you on the road to being a famous chef!
